Graveyard Dirt Cups
Chocolate pudding, cookie-crumb dirt, candy pumpkins, and gummy worms come together in spooky individual graveyards.
Ingredients
- 1 3.9-ounce package instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 8-ounce container whipped topping, thawed
- 20 chocolate sandwich cookies
- 8 oval vanilla sandwich cookies
- Black decorating icing
- 8 candy pumpkins
- 8 gummy worms
- 8 clear dessert cups
Directions
- Whisk pudding mix and milk for 2 minutes. Refrigerate 10 minutes, until thickened.
- Fold whipped topping into the pudding.
- Crush chocolate sandwich cookies into fine crumbs.
- Layer pudding and cookie crumbs in each cup, finishing with crumbs.
- Write “RIP” on each vanilla cookie with decorating icing and insert one into each cup.
- Decorate with a candy pumpkin and gummy worm.
- Refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving.
OCW Kitchen Tip: Prepare the pudding cups ahead, but add tombstone cookies and candy shortly before serving so the cookies do not soften.
