Print ads and photos should be submitted at 300 dpi whenever possible. Low-resolution images may appear blurry or pixelated in the final ad.
Color ads should be supplied in CMYK when possible. RGB files can often be accepted, but color may shift when converted for print.
Keep important text large enough to read. Avoid crowding too many offers, photos, and phone numbers into a small ad space.
Sending the right file type makes the design and production process smoother.
Best for finished print-ready ads. Fonts and images should be embedded.
Good for photos and flat artwork when saved at high resolution.
Good for logos and digital graphics, especially when transparency is needed.
Best for logos and vector artwork when available.
For the cleanest results, send original logos, high-resolution photos, typed ad copy, and finished PDF artwork when available. Screenshots should only be used when no better file exists.
Digital ads may appear on OCW website pages, seasonal hubs, business directory pages, sponsored content, or other online advertising placements.
Submit a high-quality JPG or PNG. Include the website link where the ad should click.
Best for business promotions, seasonal offers, restaurant specials, and service ads.
Sponsored articles should include images that help tell the story.
Digital ads should be simple and clear. A logo, short message, strong image, and direct call to action usually work better than a crowded graphic.
